Confidentiality – Publication of information for ICF member coaches: If you are in agreement with a coach who is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the coaching relationship and all the information you share with the coach is linked to the privacy principles set out in the ICF code of ethics. Coaching meeting notes can be considered by other carson coaching stakeholders, including other coaches, support team members and management teams related to confidentiality and confidentiality agreements. However, please note that the coach-client relationship is not considered a confidential relationship (such as the medical and legal professions) and therefore the communication is not subject to the protection of a privilege recognized by law. If the person who is being cared for under this contract (“customer”) is separated from the party in number (“sponsor”), ensure that your assigned coach is informed in writing so that separate confidentiality terms can be discussed and accepted. Finally, ICF member coaches undergo ongoing and continuous training to follow and/or obtain ICF registration information. This process requires the names and contact information of all customers for possible ICF verification. By agreeing to this agreement, you agree that only your name, contact information, and your start and end date of coaching will be forwarded to ICF members and/or other parties involved in this process, for the sole necessary purpose of verifying the coaching relationship – no personal notes will be sent. If you don`t want your coach to be able to keep your information for registration purposes, please send your opt-out request in writing to your affected coach. Take, for example, the use of contracting in the daily activity of coaching. Professionals use this capability almost indifferently on several different levels. These different contracts are constantly supporting and strengthening each other. To successfully implement a coaching process, it is therefore wise to conclude and know contracts and agreements with clients in the following dimensions: the time required to develop a good sequence agreement can sometimes take the most time allocated to the subject or issue. Often, clarifying the issue on which the client wishes to work is the bulk of the work itself.
Confrontation is necessary when there is a disconnect between a person`s words, actions or words and actions, specifically between the content of an explicit agreement or contract and the following acts or behaviours. For example, if you promise to repay a loan over a specific period of time and you fail to get the repayments, that person may rightly be confronted by the loaner party. What it does: Protect yourself from inappropriate interpretations of what your services are or what you can do. As part of a coaching process, it is recommended that clients be asked for permission before intervening in their personal dialogue or in their frame of reference. In principle, meeting and sequence agreements and subsequent sequent agreements serve to “align” the goals of the coach, client and client. The open dialogue process is often very different from the formal and legalistic coaching contract, often allowing for less precise definitions, “fuzzy” objectives, nascent processes and creative solutions.
