The eicr legislation has been amended. If you are renting a property in England and the lease has been completed from the coming into force of the regulations on 1 June 2020, you will need to have an Electrical Inspection Status Report (EICR) carried out by a qualified person from 1 July 2020. For leases started before this date, REDTs are required before April 1, 2021.
